Community Policies
Community Guidelines
Welcome to YA! We're building a vibrant, supportive space for a small (so far) community of enthusiastic folks interested in literature, creativity, and fandom. Please read and follow these guidelines to help keep things ๐ฏ.
Be Kind & Respectful
Treat everyone with kindness and respect. This is the main governing rule. We're all here to connect, share, and support each other. Disagreements happen, but always engage constructively. Your feelings are important, and so is sharing them in an authentic and respectful way.
No Harassment
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated. This includes but is not limited to attacks based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability. Do not be a TERF, meninist, etc. We will not tolerate intolerance here.
Keep It Safe
- No sharing of personal information without consent
- No threats or intimidation
- No doxing or stalking
- Report concerning behavior to Verified Community Leaders
Content Guidelines
- For now, please keep posts appropriate for a general audience. We are working on adding a way for members to opt-in or out of content meant for people over the age of 18 in the U.S., but we are not finished yet. (We are sex-positive here, and we want everyone to have the experience that best suits them.)
- Mark sensitive content appropriately
- No spam or excessive self-promotion
- No illegal content or activities
Boost & Share Responsibly
When boosting content, you're amplifying it to your followers. Make sure you're comfortable with what you're sharing and its impact on the community.
Privacy Matters
Respect others' privacy. Don't share private conversations, DMs, or personal details without explicit permission.
This is a private server run by an individual who wants to create a safe and positive space for people to interact and talk. The admin, TunafishTiger (me), makes every reasonable effort at keeping Your and the Community's data safe and secure, but no warranties or promises beyond that are made. Please use a password unique to this website (not the same password as your bank account, etc., etc.) and share nothing you are not comfortable with leaking out one day should disaster strike. Use good sense and make your own judgements.
Have Fun!
This is a community built on shared interests and mutual support. Participate, engage, make friends, and enjoy the space we're creating together!
Enforcement
Violations may result in:
1. A friendly reminder
2. Temporary posting restrictions
3. Account suspension
4. Permanent ban (for more serious or repeated violations)
